Privacy Policy

Effective September 30, 2026

In short: this website sets no cookies and collects no student records. If you join the early-access list, we keep your email address and the page address you'd like only to tell you about ProfPage, and we never sell them.

This Privacy Policy explains how remarQable LLC ("remarQable", "we", "us" or "our") handles information in connection with ProfPage and the website at profpage.com. ProfPage is opening soon. When accounts open, we will update this policy to cover them before anyone signs up.

1. Information we collect

Early-access list. If you join the list, we collect your email address and, if you give one, the ProfPage address you would like (for example, profpage.com/jane-smith). The form is processed by Formspree, which receives what you enter, the time you signed up and standard technical details such as your IP address, and passes it to us.

Emails you send us. If you email us, we receive your address and whatever you choose to include.

Analytics. We use Plausible Analytics to count visits, pages viewed, referring websites and early-access sign-ups. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal information and does not track you across other websites. It reports totals, such as visits by country and device type, not individual visitors.

Server logs. Like most websites, our web server keeps short-lived technical logs, including IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.

2. Cookies

This website does not set cookies, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking. That is why there is no cookie banner.

3. Students and student data

ProfPage is for educators publishing information about themselves and their teaching. It is not a learning management system, and it is not designed to collect or store student records, grades, assignments or messages from students. Students and parents can read an educator's public page without giving us any information.

The example page at profpage.com/example shows a fictional educator. Any resemblance to a real person is coincidental.

4. How we use information

We do not sell or rent your personal information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to train AI models.

5. Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the website, under their own confidentiality and security commitments:

We may also disclose information if required by law, such as in response to a valid court order, or if needed to protect the rights, property or safety of remarQable, our users or the public.

6. How long we keep it

7. Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any email, or by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to or restrict how we use it. To make a request, email dev@remarqable.io.

8. Security

The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and we take reasonable steps to protect the small amount of information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9. Children

ProfPage is meant for adult educators. The early-access list is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If we learn we have, we will delete it.

10. International users

ProfPage is operated from the United States. If you use it from elsewhere, your information, such as an email address you give us, will be processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from yours.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time, and we will update it before ProfPage accounts open. We will post the new version on this page and change the effective date above. If a change materially affects how we use early-access sign-ups, we will email the people on the list.
